Become a DSP in training

Heritage Christian Services has partnered with Bryant & Stratton College to provide a five-week Direct Support Professional Training program, where you can get a head start on a new and exciting career in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Plus, you’ll get paid to train as a direct support professional! This FREE training program is a five week-long commitment and is comprised of both classroom instruction (In Henrietta area) and hands-on clinical experiences. Training will be 32 hours per week, Monday-Thursday & Fridays will be scheduled based on shadowing. You will be hired as a DSP in training and will receive 17.00/hour to support you while you’re training. After successful completion, trainees will be assigned a full-time position as a DSP in our Residential, Respite or Day Habilitation programs and your salary will increase to $17.30 to $19.00, depending on your location.
